Quantity in Shopping Cart

I would like to set my shop to 'Quantity in Shopping Cart' so that when you click on 'Add to cart' it goes to the basket page.

This is all fine except that if I do that it doesn't seem to work for my duplicate products. I get an error and it is only with the originals that it takes me to the basket.

Any Help?

Can we see a URL where this is not working?

Without seeing that, all I can suggest is the usual maintenance fixes ('Housekeeping | Compact Databases' and also 'Web | Refresh Website').
