Duplicate Products

I notice that if you buy a product on one page, then you have a duplicate of the same product on a different page and you buy it, you end up with 2 seperate items which are the same thing in your basket instead of having one item with a quantity of 2.

Any way to get around this?

This is the way it works ... the duplicate product is prefixed with a 1!, 2! etc to identify it is a duplicate of the master product (you cant have 2 products with the same ref in the database) ... Actinic thus treats these as different products
