Create new table from 2 others

Can anyone help me with this?
I have 2 files

track_link_id
catalog_id
track_id

sample data
1 2 3 4 5
12345 12345 12345 12999 12999
1001 1002 1003 1004 1005

and

track_id
track_name

sample data

1001 1002 1003 1004 1005
tracka trackb trackc trackd track e

I want to create a new table in the format
catalog_id, track_name1, track_name2, trackname3 etc

12345, tracka, trackb, trackc
12999, trackd, tracke

Any help would really be appreciated, thanks

Is the number of tracks consistent across all catalog_id's?

Have a look at the Access online help for 'transform'

Hi Bill

had a lokk but cant find any examples on how to use it. The no of tracks will vary per catalog_id. Any ideas?
