    Stock Control

    Is it possible to get actinic to manage stock control on an attribute basis? We run an online clothes store, and use an attribute for size & colour. The problem is that actinic doesn't treat the attributes as seperate products which effectively makes stock control in this situation completely useless.

    Is there a way around this, or is it a planned feature of any new versions?

    Thanks,
    Kev

    Hi there,

    Is it possible to get actinic to manage stock control on an attribute basis?
    Yes, Actinic has the ability to manage stock for attribute from V5 upwards.

    What you will have to do is;

    1. Create new products for every attribute(s) you want to monitor the stock for, also make sure you have a check in the 'Hide on website' box within the product details box.

    2. Go into the component, click on the permutations tab and click on the 'fill list' button and then associate each choice with its product.

    This will then monitor your stock for you for each individual attributes.

    Hope this helps.
