    Custom Fees at checkout?

    I am trying to setup a store with some custom fees at checkout.

    Everything in the store is free shipping. But we want to give the customer these options during checkout:

    * Standard Processing (no additional fees)
    * Rush Processing ($5.00 more)

    I was trying to set this up as 2 shipping options, but Actinic ignores the $0.00 one and automatically applies the Rush Processing($5.00) w/o allowing the customer to choose.

    Anyone have any ideas on how to set this up in Actinic.

    What have you setup in "View | Business Settings | Shipping and Handling"? There is an issue here. Please could you provide us with more information

      Under the Shipping tab I've got:

      Calculation basis: Total quantity

      Shipping bands: By Class

      - Standard Processing Quantity: 1, Cost: $0.00
      |_ All Zones

      - For Special Rush Processing Quantity: 1, Cost: $5.00
      |_ All Zones

      Excess:
      Take the highest value in the table

        Mmmm please could you remove the excess part, ie "Don't allow Excess", and update the site, and try again please.

          Thanks for the suggesstion. I've tried that and here are my results.

          Now when I have 1 item in my cart, it does not ask me or charge me any shipping during checkout.


          When I have more than 1 items, it gives me the following error:
          Select Shipping Destination - Your order has exceeded the shipping tables defined by the supplier, therefore it is not possible to calculate the shipping cost. Please contact the supplier with this information as they will be happy to process your order and will then be able to correct the shipping tables.

            Mmm I would suggest in getting Actinic Support to check out your snapshot to see the shipping details and why you are getting this problem.
