    Query about flat file import

    Hello all
This is my first post on this fourm so please bear with me. I'm building a site at the moment most of the data is coming from an external data base (our point of sale system), I've also built some sections and products in Actinic. The problem that I now have is that when I do a fresh flat file import, and opt to overwrite the site I loose all my Sections that where not from the external DB. Is there any way I can protect the sections I have created in Actinic and still update my site with data from the external DB? any help would be very welcome.

    Cheers

    Shaun

Just elect to use the Update option when importing the flat file.

If anything matches, likes product references, then your import will update those and any that do not exist will be imported and then exist.
