missing full description

Hi

We have a problem in actinic v5.

We were having problems uploading on one of our machines and so installed actinic v5 on a different machine and then installed an up to date snapshot.

All the data has copied across ok however when we preview the site or do an upload, the full description is missing from the products.

Has anyone experienced this before and if so, how did you solve it?

Have not come across this issue before. Is it possible for you to send me the snapshot in question to krcsupport[@]actinic.co.uk. If the snapshot size is greater than 10 MB, please mail me so I can send you the FTP details to upload the file to.

Sorry, we have now sorted it. For some reason on the new computer, it had changed the product layout to show just the short description!

I thought when you did a snapshot, it copied all these settings across?

Yep...that is the normal behaviour. It is puzzling why the settings were not over-written from the snapshot in the first place..
Glad to know the issue is sorted though.
