I've had to re-install Actinic and I had forgotten that I had used a script to update the prog to allow for email notification to go to two different email addresses. Now it won't work. Does anyone have the file copyemailreceipt.zip that contains the script?

I would be most grateful.

At the moment the client is emailed that their order has been place but neither the vendor nor myself are receiving notification emails that there are new orders awaiting, nor are the credit card details that are sent separately being sent.

I've asked around and I'm afraid no-one knows where that file has gone. The people who might know have long since left Actinic.

Hmm, so do you think that as I have re-installed original version, ie without patch, that I should be able to use the original orderscript.pl and it will at least send email notification and credit card details to the user specified in the business settings?

Absolutely - this is standard functionality in v4. Just make sure you have the relevant option selected in 'Business Settings'.
