Free postage except for Trade customers?

We have a promotion running at the moment with free postage for UK customers. We are doing this by reducing the UK postal rate to zero for our 3-5 day delivery class with an option for a 2 day guaranteed delivery class at £5.

The problem is, we have a small number of trade customers who because of the additional discount they receive we cannot afford to provide free postage to them.

Is there any way I can provide either a fixed surcharge of say £5 to all trade orders placed or to have a class of delivery that only applies to trade orders ?

Sorry John - neither of these options are possible in Actinic - shipping options are always going to be the same for each customer account.

The only option I can think of is to give all your retail customers a coupon code they can enter into the store to have the cost of the shipping taken off the order.
