Moving Actinic Shop to new computer

OK, so I obviously have to install Actinic on the new computer. Then, I do a Site snapshot and load that on the new computer. Is this right so far?

I then copy all the pics (which are in various files) and install them on the new computer. Howver, even if I keep these in the files with the same name as they had on the old computer, their address will be different. So, do I now do a Refresh so that all the pics are uploaded from the new computer or will an Update suffice?

Or have I got all this completely wrong?

Also, if I want to be able to manage the site from 2 computers (say a PC in the office and a lapto for when I'm out of the office for any length of time) how would I set this up?

    Input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Doug

If all your images are in the site1 folder then the snapshot will take them with it.

No - they are scattered through various folders..

Take the time to tidy up now, put them all in site1. Make life easy!

If I do that, will it be necessary to Refresh (once they're all in the same file)? Also, if they were placed in sub-files - within the Site 1 file, would that be OK.

          Thanks,

          Doug

Thanks for that and to everyone else. I have another question which I'll start a new topic on.

              Cheers,

              Doug
