    Protx as psp

    Hello,
I have read up in this forum about Protx as much as poss because im just about to apply to them to be my PSP. Im going to ask for and in writing!
    a) AVS and CV2 to be enabled
    b) Delivery to cardholders address only
    c) Not allowing editing of delivery address
    d) Have the account set up for "Pre-authorization" of the credit cards.
Im heading blindly down a very dark alley being a total newcomer to credit card taking! does this seem correct? anything i have missed. Any thoughts welcomed.
    Thanks

These are enabled within Actinic rather than being anything to do with Protx. You will find the method of doing this in the main help (Help | Help Topics). Go to the 'Index' tab and look for the heading called 'Only Allowing One Address Per Order'.

          Hi Anita,

to confirm a couple of points:

          b) Delivery to cardholders address only
          c) Not allowing editing of delivery address
By default Protx don't care what goes where, which means that the default setup shows the delivery address and enables changes to it.
This is seperate from Actinic as this happens on Protx secure pages, so they have to change the way their template handles the data passed by actinic, so you DO have to ask Protx to make the necessary changes.

          d) Have the account set up for "Pre-authorization" of the credit cards.
You need to ensure your merchant account provider (pray it's not LloydsTSB) allows pre-auth on all cards - LTSB doesn't offer pre-auth on Visa cards, so Protx can't offer it if your a Cardnet customer. Frustrating but important to check, else those transactions just won't happen.

          Andy.
