Product Column Spacing

I have put my products into 2 columns but want to make the distance between the columns bigger. Anyone know how please?

Also, if there is no product image, can the vertical gap be closed up?

Without seeing your pages or templates it's a bit hard to answer.

Actinic may be placing an invisible image in this case. Again without seeing the page it's hard to visualise what you're getting.

Look in Design / Options / Shop Defaults / Default Product Image, where you can delete the entry.
