Range Searching within Custom Properties

Hi all,

Not really sure that this is possible, but here goes anyway.

We have a number of custom properties within a Business v6 site, that we use within the custom search abilities of the software, i.e. the drop downs for these custom properties contains the inputs placed within each products usage of a particular custom property.

Now, is it possible to set the search up to search on a range of values as you can with the Price field, so if we established a search of 10 - 100, 101 to 1000 and so on, that would only conduct this on the particular custom property alone.

This is not possible to do exactly as you describe.

You can, however, create a custom property called 'Range' (or something) and then use text values similar to the following:

"0-100"
"101-200"
"201-300"
etc.

These will then be the values that appear in the search drop-down and take customers to the correct groups of products.
