Disappearing NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONIMAGE NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONTEXT

I notice that when i hit the 'add to cart link' on my product pages that my sections navigation that is controlled by the NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONIMAGE NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONTEXT disappears. I have tried a few ways to maintain these links to the sections throughout my site but to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONIMAGE and NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONTEXT display the image and the description in the HTML for the section you are currently viewing. They are specific to section pages, and as the 'View Cart' page is not in a section, it means that they are not displayed.

Or are you talking about a top-level section list that is generated by NETQUOTEVAR:TOPLEVELSECTIONSTOP? IF so, then yo uneed to consider switching to a section list layout generated by JavaScript, which will not disappear depending on the page you are looking at. Instructions for this are in the Advanced User Guide.
