HELP! Error message halts website update.

When I try to update my website I get an error message alert
"The search key was not found in any record" and the update promptly ends.

I have tried refreshing with the same result and also removing the search functional altogether but the error message persists.

I am getting a little anxious as I have the big Christmas update ready to go and Actinic will not play ball! If anyone can help me get past this I would be eternally grateful.

OK problem solved. I merely compacted the database which seemed to sort things out. Site now uploads as usual. Phew!!
