    WWW Being dropped

    Hello again all,

I have been making some major changes to my website and have come up with a problem I just can't find in the archives.

I use the variables NEXT_SECTION_NAME and PREV_SECTION_NAME in my Act_Primary template to provide Next and Prev Page links. The problem is that when I click on these links it drops the leading www causing my site certificate to fail.

    http://www.seriouslysilver.co.uk/aca...acelets_1.html

If I click on the > link at the bottom of the page it takes me to

    http://seriouslysilver.co.uk/acatalog/Bracelets_2.html

I presume it is something to do with the path to the CGI bin or a setting somewhere in Actinic although nothing I change seems to cure it.

The same thing happened with auto forwarding pages but I cured that by adding the full URL.

If you view the html of the page the link seems to be correct
    href="http://www.seriouslysilver.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?SECTIONID=Bracelets%5f2%2ehtml&amp;NOLOGIN=1">2</A>

    Any ideas anyone?

    Andy,

Are you saying this is happening on the page you have supplied here? I've tried this and it takes me to the full url. In fact, I've tried one or two sections on your site where there are different pages and all have taken me to the full url!

Might it be something to do with your cache? Have you tried it in different browsers?

    Regards,
    David

      Thanks for that David.

I have checked it on another computer and it works fine. Like you say it must be something to do with the cache although I have deleted all the temporary files.

I will download Firefox and make sure its OK there.

      Thanks again David

For anyone reading this thread in the future, deleting the cookie from this computer sorted the problem
