    Issues in transferring customers to Secure Payment Provider (PayPal)

    We have started to notice that some customers seem to be having great difficulty in checking out from our sites shopping cart at www.paragon-matrix.com and transferring from our shopping cart to the secure payment provider’s payment system (paypal).

    Looking at our orders record, it seems that a number of customers are having to submit the same order 2 or 3 times before they are finally transferred to the payment providers secure payment screens for them to pay from our shopping cart. In other words we end up with getting 2 or 3 attempted orders entitled pending payment service provider and then finally get the order in the pending area with the payment authorization.

    Having just spoken to a customer with this problem who has tried to place the same order FOUR times, she gets to our screen which says “Transferring you to our credit/debit card payment provider to process your payment.” But this does not transfer her to PayPal, just hangs.

    Any help or advice much appreciated

    This is common with PSPs especially at this time of year - it is nothing to do with actinic it is because of the psps servers being busy as its getting nr to XMas. What you can do is put a message on the transfer page asking people to only click once and there may be a delay.
