Displaying quantity on the invoice

Basically I want the invoice to show quantity ordered rather than quantity shipped.

I dont have crystal report but i have read that you can make it so all orders are marked "shipped", this would be ideal for me however i couldnt find any threads that told me how to do this.

Any ideas??

In Actinic V7, you have to open an order, select the lines and click on the mark shipped button to mark them as shipped. In V8, you can use the One Click completion button to do this a little more quickly.

We have a plugin called One Stop Automation that will download orders for you and autoship them as they are downloaded, if you don't need them downloading, then you can also just by a batch order processor to do the same thing (it the same product but licensed to restrict the features). There must be a way to do this automatically!

We recieve more than 100 orders a day each of which can contain between 1 to 8 products on, so if the average amount of products per order is 4 then that means i would have to click "ship" 400 times every day!!

This just cannot be right! All i want it to do is display the quantity of products ordered on an invoice, surely actinic can do this basic task?

The only way to do this is to :

a) Alter the invoice or have the invoice altered using crystal reports 8.5 so that the number ordered is shown rather than the number shipped.

b) Use a plugin to autoship for you.

c) Manaully ship the lines in Actinic

I wouldn't recommend a) because orders need to be fully shipped before they move to completed in Actinic, so if you don't ship them, they will stay in the pending window (unless you bypass order processing and export them).

It is easier in V8 because you can use One Click Completion to autoship orders for you.

Another option might be to send out the packing list rather than the invoice as this includes the quantity ordered.
