I have had a look around for a resolution to my problem without much luck.

In the last 3 months I have received approximately 30 paypal orders and none of them have created a customer receipt for either me or my customer. With the webiste payment preferences on Paypal i have the following:-
Auto return - on
Return url - http://www.testinprivate.co.uk/receipt.html
Payment data transfer - on
Encrypted website payments - off
Paypal acount optional - on
.
Can someone please advise whether these settings are correct or what could be causing the problem.

I have read that it maybe that customers are closing down paypal after paying and therefore not returning to my receipt page which generates the e-mail. If this is the cause then any ideas how I can suggest customers do not do this (ie. when they select paypal as an option, flash a message page asking them to ensure they leave paypal cleanly).
