    Manually Editing Dates of Invoices?

    Hi All,

    Hope everyones ready for Xmas!

I have just discoved (doing my book work) that I have forgotten to process a couple of invoices thru the store as i received booked-in jobs for custom painting a couple of Herley's and usually, I set up a hidden product visable only to me for this deposit, log in and process the order and then add the customers address etc and add my email address. Once this order comes in I cna amend any more info, add their tel number and swithc their email for mine, nice easy way to make a tailored invoice. But, i have missed a few and I want to try and get them back-dated.

I know I cannot get the numbes to re-generate but, if I edit them manually is it possible to change the date fields from now to say July?

    Thanks

You can do this by editing the order table in the Actinic database, but not via the Actinic interface.

Just done some searching here to read fom Norman that i'll need Access 2000 to open ActinicCatalog.mdb. Is there another free programme I can open it in as i don't have this?

        Thanks

You can read the data in Excel but not sure if you can write it. (Perhaps with MS Query and a Pivot Table) Look through the help in Excel.

Is there a free program I can use easily? I have downloaded Query but I can't wiork out which part of the installation to use to open the file, there seems to be many folders but no predominant .exe program? Any suggestions (I don't usually do databases so this is all new to me).

            Thanks and Merry Xmas everyone!

              Hi Brian,

I haven't seen a free program which can open and edit an Access Database I'm afraid. Also if you do get Access2000, and you plan to edit, Please backup your database beforehand, just in case.

              Kind Regards
