    Selected FREE Delivery Costs

I am wanting internet customers who live within our free delivery area to be able to use the Actinic Site. Is it possible to show FREE shipping to desiginate postcodes. At present it is charging the shipping fee and I have to manually credit it back to the customers.

Afraid not, but you can create a location called UK - Rygate (or wherever) and add shipping table with 0.00 cost, which would achieve the same effect - just so long as the customers see and choose the option.

      Not related query

      Hi,
sorry nothing to do with your question, but I am wanting to create a similar type of layout on my site.
Can anyone tell me if any of the templates in V7 will produce a similar format or is this another long winded issue for me.
      Thanks.
      Happy New Year

This is the method I have used for local collections on a couple of sites.

if you change the shipping selection to using radio buttons in place of drop down it is easier for customers to select the correct choice

                    multi box

                    Hi Jo,
                    Thanks fr the reply.
Can you or anyone else tell me the simplest way to get more than one coloumn, as my site tends to look silly with one long list and I would ideally like to do similar to the original site on the feed.
                    Thanks.

in the section dialog box you can set the number of columns for sections, Norman has something for products in columns

                        coloumns

                        Thanks.
I did try and send a file to Norman as I have beent rying to sort this for ages without success.
For some reason the emails I send to him are not coming through to him or if they do the attachemtns are missing and this is my reason for trying.
Might just end up cutting my losses and searching for a more user friendly option.
                        Thanks.

                            V8

                            Thanks.
I realise that some things in 8 are supposedly better, however there seems to be quite a few people saying the upgrade simply is not worth the money.
I must say that after shelling out for business v7 I am not too impressed.
                            Cheers.

thats life isn't it, what is good for one person isn't necessarily the best solution for someone else. Its a case of weighing up how you think v8 could benefit your site and work from that.

My own experience has been to skip a version or two along the way, I run 4 sites with other business partners we had a v5, a v6, a v7 and one in another package all together. At the mo I am upgrading all the sites to v8, and standarding the design to the sites all have the same corporate feel to them. I have to admit the v5 site was my least fave site to work on as once you see what the newer versions can do you see the limitations of olders versions.

My advice for the future is to upgrade everyother version if you can't afford it each version, or consider taking cover to get the next version built in as having access to actinic phone support is valuabe in its own right.
