    shopping cart problem

    Hi
attached is a gif of my shopping cart screen.

I have a product with a component that has the size and colour attributes.
It seems to be adding the choose quantity in my cart and the client wants it all on one line with....

product name >> quantity >> price >> cost >> remove button

can u help me rid myself of this quantity box...is it in design settings???

    cheers!

      Hi Matthew

You have the component on a separate order line, and it looks as though you are using 'Sum of Components' as the Price Model. Tick the 'No Order Line for Main Product' checkbox on the Component tab in Product Details and you will have just one order line in the shopping cart for that item.

        thanks Ben

        Hi
I have actually ticked this box for each product but these extra rows appear anyway!
It seems that the 'order line' for the product is getting put in anyway, (illustrated in this other gif i am attaching) and has a hot link back to the product with a quantity input box.

This has stumped me, becasue if i have ticked the no order line....why is it still showing the product?

Could it be that something else has to be unchecked?

        thanks

        Matt

          Hi Matt

Have you uploaded the site (it's always worth checking )

          If you have:
          - ticked 'Component As Separate Order Line' on the Component dialogue
          - selected 'Sum of Components' in Product Details
          - ticked 'No Order Line for Main Product' in Product Details
          - uploaded site

... then I honestly don't know why both lines would be displayed in the cart. I would suggest registering a query here because your snapshot will need to be examined.
