Other Info Question not appearing

As the title suggests I have noticed that the, Other Info Question is not appearing when set for an item.

This was previously working in v7.0.5 and only recently change to v7.0.6 as a suggestion to remedy the preview problem with IE7 before it was established the preview problem was a bug with IE7.

No other changes to the .html pages or code has been made other than to change the copyright date to 2007.

Any suggestions what's happening here?

As an aside before the update the bounce from adding to the cart would bounce to the home page but now it correctly bounces back to where the customers was originally ordering .

The item in question to name just one is the assorted novelties and the question simply asks is the selection for boys or girls.

BUT as you will see there is no question! So where has it gone as it's set in the question field for this product.

As I said it has worked up until v7.0.6 was used to update from v7.0.5.

Have you used Normans multi-prompt patch at any stage? Upgrading from 7.0.5 to 7.0.6 will reset the mods to the default hence removing Normans work. Just a thought.

Typical, having torn my hair out this morning it now works!

I cleared the question and compacted the database. Exited Actinic and re-opened it and then reset the question and uploaded.

Works now thanks for the input.

Don't know why is went wrong though.

I am also having this same issue in V7.05 Developer, on this page;

It didn't work when I tried the original Act-productline.
And the date prompt doesn't show either!
There's just an empty <p> <br> </p> where they should be. Grrr!

Hi Doug

As far as I'm aware in version 7 the "Other Info question" will only appear alongside a Product if the "Shopping Mode" is set to "Quantity On Product Page" and this can be done via the "Layout" tab of the Section or through Design | Options | Shop defaults.

So please check this and if necessary make the changes and see what happens.
