can you include typos in your search? i mean can i include other words so if someone types their word incorrectly when searching it will still come up with something that resembles it? eg. sm can be interpreted as sam or tnk can be tank

if the word sm is on your sam page, and the word tnk is on your tank page (and neither is blocked by the search exclude list) they would be found, but the search will not and cannot 'find' things that are not there.

Alas the search will only work on words submitted and will not stem or use a database of common alternatives - as Bill says any typos need to be entered as such into the product.

If your simple search log is showing a lot of commontypos it is worth building a section with a list of typos and a link through to the page proper
