External links to hidden products

Hi All

My client has 4 'splash sites' (all currently being redesigned) and would like to share the main actinic site for online purchases.

Is it possible to link each site to its own 'special offers section' on the main site and not make these visable to traffic from the other sites.

Maybe hiding products with direct links??

Make them exclusive to the referring site??

Hi,

There isn't an easy way to do this and all I can think of is to assign a blank 'SectionLine' template to these special offer sections so they don't show up on the website (they will have to be at the end of you content tree for layout purposes). However, if you are using javascript to generate the section list (usually on the left side of the screen) then you will have to manually edit the javascript file to remove these sections so that they don't show each time the site is generated.

Another problem with this would be that if someone came out of the special offer section they wouldn't be able to get back to it without either clicking the back button or going back to the relevant 'splash site' and going through the original way they got to it.
