    This is where it starts to get complicated.

    On the whole your network settings look correct (although your smtphost details might not be up to date).

    The main problem appears to be that the basehref statement in your cgi-bin pages is missing the /acatalog/ bit that tells the browser to find the images in the /acatalog/ folder rather than the root. I don't know why it's doing this.

    I can only think that this may have been hard coded, as actinic shoudl generate this correctly from your network settings. If you look in your primary checkout template do you see this statement near the top:

    <Actinic:BASEHREF VALUE="NETQUOTEVAR:BASEHREF"/>
    or is there a fixed basehref statement there?

      in to my site one folder and the primary checkout page says this

      "NETQUOTEVAR:logo image NETQUOTEVAR:formbegins
      NETQUOTEVAR:hiddenfields
      NETQUOTEVAR:simple search NETQUOTEVAR:headertext
      NETQUOTEVAR:bulk
      NETQUOTEVAR:toplevelsectionstop NETQUOTEVAR:footer text
      NETQUOTEVAR:formend
      NETQUOTEVAR:cartcookieitems
      NETQUOTEVAR:cartcookieitems
      NETQUOTEVAR:cartcookieitems

      please quote if i have looked in the wrong place? i tend to steer clear of the the site one folder!

        That looks like the right file, but too far down.

        In Act_PrimaryCheckout.html the first few lines should look something like this

        <!-- Primary HTML begin -->
        <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
        <HTML>
        <HEAD>
        <TITLE>
        NETQUOTEVAR:PAGETITLE
        </TITLE>
        <Actinic:BASEHREF VALUE="NETQUOTEVAR:BASEHREF"/>
        <META NAME="ACTINICTITLE" CONTENT="NETQUOTEVAR:PAGEHEADER">
        Line 8 (or thereabouts) should have the basehref statement.

                basehref on index page is
                <Actinic:BASEHREF VALUE="https://www.shhh-itsourlittlesecret.co.uk/" FORCED=1 />
                note HTTPS

                however on catalog pages its

                <Actinic:BASEHREF VALUE="http://www.shhh-itsourlittlesecret.co.uk/acatalog/" FORCED=NETQUOTEVAR:BASEHREFFORCED />
                I don't know if either the https or the FORCED=NETQUOTEVAR:BASEHREFFORCED has an effect

                  when you refer to my index page (home page?) if you are my home page is designed in macromedia (found it better to change!)

                  and it has been intergrated with the rest of the site?

                      Hi Alex,

                      It's hard to tell what's going on here as the template doesn't look like a standard one (it might be using frames) and there's no way of knowing what your web designer did.

                      I've also been having trouble connecting to your site for the last couple of days which makes it impossible to take a look and try to figure things out.

                      If I were you I'd contact actinic support directly and get them to take a detailed look at what's happening. If you have actinic cover you can call them, otherwise it's a case of registering the problem via the form on the support webpage.
