    Problem within Java Applet?

    Extract from customer email:

"There is a fault with the credit card page. I am running IE6 with 128 bit encryption. The details all appear ready for entry - it is possible to select the card type, and also to set the expiry date, but when I get into the card number entry field all I get is the flashing bar, indicating ready to type, but the field does not accept any typed entry."

We are running v4 with all patches applied, etc - I did notice that customer consumed 3 order numbers but they did not mentioned other issues to cause this!

Any ideas on what causes the flashing bar and how to achieve this interesting effect? !!!!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Paul

I've placed a dummy order successfully on your site so everything seems to be working correctly.

I think your customer means the flashing cursor which appears when you edit text, and I would guess that the reason they can't enter numbers is that the numlock is switched off on the keyboard.

Thanks for the test orders - your guess is probably correct as he tried later and placed the order successfully - I guess he typed his card number with no mistakes or he'd sussed what the little light on his keyboard meant!
