According to the variable reference available on the help menu,

CompanySalutationOnline(XML) is the name you enter as Company Contact in Settings | Business Settings Company/Contact.

Is that what you want to change, or is it the word sincerely that you are looking for?

George - on the design tab, select Administration email in the page select dropdown. The word 'sincerely' is hard coded in there but can be edited.

Darn - just noticed its a v7 post.............

I went for that in the second reply but George said no ... better than "computer says no" I guess

My Act_CustomerEmail.txt does not have one (a Sincerely), thats what made me believe it was a global insertation. Looks like I was trying to edit the wrong email template.

I'll check tomorrow but the email I was trying to edit I realise will have it within the relevant email template.

                `Regards` sounds better I think.

(I must have butchered it in a past life).

Thanks for the replies as usual.

If anyone is in the slightest bit interested I replaced Sincerely with Regards, Postmaster. Also closed the space between the company name and the address, and added a space between the country and the phone numbers. I think it looks a lot better now, certainly better than Sincerely, Company Name.
