Replacing Add to cart/Sold out with 'Comming Soon'

I have a number of products that are due into stock soon and I want to make our customers aware of them NOW, what i plan to do is put them on our site and mark them as Coming Soon!

Now we use a 'Single Product per section' layout for our site,
Putting Coming Soon on the main product page is not that hard, but what i want to do is on the multi product page (where users will click a product to be taken to that products page) i need to find a way to put the coming soon message there!

before i continue, probably best to show an example (click here)

as you can see on that page, everything is laid out in a uniform layout EXCEPT the last one, because it has the "due in stock on" message on it,
Is there a way to replace the "Add to cart" button with one that says "Coming Soon"

    thanks in advance

Just an idea, But you could set the products so that that they cannot be purchased online. This will remove the add to cart button for them.
To do this, untick the "Can Be Ordered Online" option, by the product image selection box.

Then add a note at the bottom of the product description, notifying customers that the product will be available soon.

i tried that, the products still didn't line up quite right!,

      EDIT

Its surprising what you can come up with when you think about it

I edited the template we use for the 3 col multi product pages and simply commented out the "add to cart" button, and put in an img src= for the new "coming soon" label, saved it as a coming soon template and used that for the new products

Means i can VERY quickly switch any coming soon items into stock items just by changing the template they use

      works perfectly WOOOHOOO

diid it make the line underneath too high up? Just wondering if simply adding a couple of extra blank lines at the end of the description would work..
Or a better idea, might be to add a blank image the same size as the "add to cart image", just below the "Due In Stock On 8th Feb" text.

Also another reason it won't line up exactly is the "click here for larger image" text, which pushes everything down just slightly.

yeah, realised that shortly afterwards, but most of the coming soon items wont have that on the multi product page, its just because that product has escaped from its normal location to live with the effects pedals!

Most (if not all) will just have the image then a "more info" tab then the "add to cart", "sold out" or "coming soon" buttons
