Applying a Discount only to specific items

Hi.
I've been using Version 6 for a couple of years and have successfully applied sales and discounts.

I now want to apply a discount to one section of my catalog. Can anyone advise as how to achieve this?

Hi Jan

The only way to apply a discount to a particluar section will be to create a product group and have all the product of that section under that group. I'm afraid this feature is not available in Version 6 , so I don't think you can apply discounts only to products of a particular section.
