Couple of problems I'm having - 1 with uploading, 1 with printing.

    Hi,

    PROBLEM 1.

I'm getting the following error message every time I upload my site or download my orders:

Warning: Some files on the web site appear to have changed since Actinic Ecommerce last uploaded them. These files will be completely refreshed the next time you upload your catalog. Please upload your catalog as soon as this download is complete. The changed files are oldprod.fil

I'm wondering if this is a security risk and what I can do to get rid of this message.

    PROBLEM 2.

When I retrieve a new order, I print an temporary invoice for my pickers to collect the goods together and then I normally reprint a completed invoice saying that the payment has been received and the goods have been shipped.
At the moment I am having problems reprinting the invoices when complete (or even when a changed has to be made to the invoice - for example - after recalculating shipping cost when an item is out of stock).
Actinic shuts down with the following series of application errors:

Does this happen everytime you reprint?

Are you reprinting one order at a time or lots at once?

Does it happen if you don't make any changes to your order?

Crashes during printing are usually caused by incompatible printer drivers (even if every other application can print on your machine it is not unusual for crystal report, which is the print engine used by Actinic, to crash with certain drivers) so make sure that you have an up to date driver.

As a workaround you can use one of my products to print, it is my batch order processor, it will mark things as shipped and print your invoice OR just print the invoice for your packers leaving you to print the final ones from Actinic. If you want to you can use it with an Automation mole to download orders and process them as they arrive. The product has a free trial so it won't cost you anything to use it for a while. For problem 1, I suggest doing a 'Web | Refresh Website'. This will send up new copies of all the files for your site.

This is not a security risk.

For problem 2, I would suggest re-installing Actinic Ecommerce as it looks like there is a problem with the DLLs that control the printing of your reports.

You can re-install a full version of v5 over the top of your current installation without affecting your current site (although I would suggest you make a copy of your 'Site1' folder somewhere safe just in case). This process will simply replace any missing or corrupt files.

You can download the latest version of v5 (v5.1.6) from http://www.actinicdownloads.com/v5. Just start the 'setup.exe' file and say you want to 'Upgrade v5'.
