cannot open actinic

Hi

I have actinic v7 and have jsut finished adding some new stock. When I have closed down and tried to re-open I receive a message regarding removal of orphans, I click ok and then receive a further message saying that no search key was found in any record, I click ok again and then a final message before closing..saying a problem was encountered contact your actinic support.

Any Ideas

I think you should do what it says and call support or raise a support ticket -something seems to have gone strange with the database. Hopefully you have a backup...

You may also try the following (assuming you have a site snapshot/back up in place)

1 Go into my computer/folder where actinic is installed
2 Open Actinics folder
3 rename your site 1 folder to site_old or similar
4 reopen actinic (if it allows you)
5 compact your database via housekeeping
6 rename your site 1 folder back to original state
7 open actinic
