    Email marketing

We recently added a section to our site which allows people to sign up to receive product information and we have had a response which greatly exceeded our expectations.

We now realise we need an email program to handle this, something where we can easily add email addresses and names with minimum of fuss.

If anybody has any recommendations or ideas of another approach I would be grateful for their views.

    Thank you.

I use www.marketmailer.co.uk for lots of sites, you can set up simple form on your site to replace the one you have allowing people to choose to opt in and out of mailing, or have a link to the form. You can import your current e-mail list into the database which you manage online. The templates for the newsletters can be modified to fit in with your website or other marketing materials, and the e-mails don't get treated as spam! An example in use is at www.mwldan.co.uk or http://www.er4l.co.uk/ where the click to register link shows you a modified form. Hope this helps.

Wonder if this should be in Any Other Business?
