Doing a complete refresh so the default page will be up for the next hour or so

Will let you know if it does any good.

      Ian,

Just a thought while you upload. Are you using images for the checkout buttons? I seem to remember I had this problem once and it was because I hadn't added the perl script change back into the order script!

          Ian,

Did you check Orderscript.pl for the images in checkout amendment?
          Cheers

            Hi Dave

This could be the problem - I do use images for the checkout and I suppose the orderscript.pl could have been changed when I generated the new site.

I have a copy of the original orderscript.pl but how do I get that info to the site, that file does not go onto the site (or at least I can't find it on the site).

How does this file actually work (laymens trems please if you can)

Thanks for sticking with me on this one

            Cheers

              Ian,

Not a problem, the amount of times I have upgraded and forgotten to amend perl scripts is frightening.

When you say the original order script what do you mean? If it is a copy from your site1 before you changed things then it may already have the changes and it should just be a case of copying and pasting it into your site1 directory. However to be sure you might be better just making the change yourself following these instructions:-

If you get the Advanced User Guide for v7 from here http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/downloads.htm and head to the bottom of page 29 it explains how to do it there. As long as you haven't changed any templates it should just be the Perl change that you need to do, ignore the first bit. Once you have made the changes upload again (a update should be fine, not a full refresh) and keep you fingers crossed.

If you struggle re-post and I will see if I can find a copy of an original v7 OrderScript.pl that I can change for you!
              Cheers

                Hi Dave

                Thanks for your help here

I keep a copy of the site one folder every month on a separate HD so I will get last months orderscript.pl out and paste that into site one and refresh etc to see how I get on.

                I'll keep you posted

                Cheers

Sorry if I'm punching above me weight here, but could the script id number be wrong?

                    Thanks Dave - it worked

Still waiting for the refresh to complete but checkout is now letting me get passed first base.

                    Cheers for sticking with this.

No problem Ian, I've done exactly the same thing a couple of times myself!
