Resetting time
18-Jul-2003, 02:24 PM
Something is wrong with a time setting in our newest site. How can I set the time to reflect our time zone even if orders are coming from others?
Thanks!
Christy

Christy
Ask your web host to check the time on the web server as that this the time that is used to create the timestamp on the order.

Chris,
I contacted our ISP and they checked both the servers our two sites are hosted on and got the correct time.
They said that the interim server could be the issue and that I should contact Actinic support.
What do you think is happening?
The time on my system is correct and surely there is no way that every single customer we have has incorrect time set on their own systems.
Thanks!
Christy

I would check the time zone on your PC (via Control Panel) to ensure you are on GMT.
I have no further suggestions for you I'm afraid as I am not an expert on servers. Maybe someone out there has got some advice.
