    Collapse Tree

I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I can't find it. So... Is there a quick way to collapse the tree - all branches rolled up to the top level? Without going through and clicking each expanded branch? (I have five releases of Actinic, and I'm just now asking this question.)

      Yes there is.

This was posted by Actinic Support some time ago. You can delete the registry key TreeState. This is recretaed on opening and closing Actinic and should reset the tree state to all closed.

Backup te registry keys first - and if you don't know how to back then up then I recommend you don't try.

Here's the post with the info:

I have tested this on a V7.0.4 test site and it works ok. Depending on your release you may konly find one of the keys mentioned.

I think he's talking about when you are working on it, not when you open it up and its all over the place. I may be wrong.

You're probably right - too much PT for a regular requirement.
Anyway why you up soearly today?

Yes, I'm looking for an easy way to collapse while I'm working. If I search for products, it leaves all the branches expanded. A one-click collapse would be very nice.

                      Pat and George,

What happens if you click against the '-' before 'Online Catalogue' on your 'Content Tree'?

                      Kind regards,

It collapses it up to that one line. But, it doesn't roll all the individual lines up as well. Does this make sense? So if I open one of the children, the children under that one are not collapsed.

Almost a coconut Bruce, I meant close all the sections and subsectons too, so that when you open up again its not the massive open list that you've been working on.
