How to email the cart content? e.g. send to a friend, quotation, ...

Hi

I would like to be able to read the content of the cart so that I can offer a facility to:
> send to a friend, or
> get a written quotation

How/where does Actinic store this info?

The information is stored within a *.session file on the server, which is interpreted by the Perl as it gets displayed in the HTML. You can open these files up with Notepad if you want to take a look - they are structured in something resembling XML.

You would need some kind of script function to pull the information out into another application, as it is not available via a nice set of pre-configured variables.
