    Google webcrawl errors

    Hi,

I have just gone on to google webmaster tools and looked at the unreachable errors section. It tells me I have several 500 (Internal Server errors) and network unreachable errors within the actinic catalogue. When I go to these pages they appear to be fine. What does this mean and what can I do to remove the errors?

    Any help much appreciated

    Thanks
    Rebecca

It could be that the CGI links are not responding fast enough for the Google robot - fione for you but not the bots. The robot may not wait long enough for a response before moving to the next link.

Make sure you have a sitemap link on all your pages and monitor the results in Google over a period of time. If you have relative links to all pages via the site map then the cgi links in Google may slowly get replaced with the relative ones.

You can also check your error.err file in your acatalog folder on the server for any issues.
