Searchable Properties not staying in list

I have selected a number of searchable properties in the Search Settings section and all is fine, however I have now come to add a further property for searching, which is accepted into the list, when I go to view the list again it has disappeared and does not show online either when I update. I have tried adding other properties instead and they all accept. The property I am trying to add is not new and has data associated to it in my products.

I am totally baffled as to why it doesn't stay on the list - does anyone have any ideas?

Are there any differences to the Custom Property that is disappearing and the ones that are working? As you would imagine, this is rather hard to pinpoint, especially since you have others that are working.

Have you tried deleting the property and recreating it, then check to see if it stays or disappears. If it still happens, then I would suggest raising a support ticket so that a member of the team can take a closer look a this.
