    VSP Protocol

I am using Actinic v7 with Protx and Streamline.
My account has been setup for use with 3D Secure with MasterCard and Visa. However PROTX have sent me the following email:

Important: Please remember that your website will need to be using VSP Protocol 2.22 if you wish to use 3D Secure. If your site is using any other protocol, your 3D Secure transactions will not work correctly. If you are using shopping cart software, you will need to speak to your shopping cart software provider to ensure that your site is setup to use VPS Protocol 2.22.

Could anyone please tell me if Actinic v7 uses VSP Protocol 2.22

Help would be very much appreciated.
    With thanks,
    Tom

      Protocol 2.22

      Thanks for your reply Jo.
I've browsed through the the other posts on here concerning this but most are from users using v7.0.3 upwards. My Actinic just has v7 on the label and i cannot find any posts from users with v7.
Do i have to download a patch or a download to upgrade to a newer version in order to use Protocol 2.22 (sorry i'm not very programmer literate).

It's took me 2 months to get Actinic to work with Protx so you can imagine my frustration at receiveing an email informing me i now have to make further changes in order to accept pre-autherised transactions.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

      Tom

Have a look on actinic.co.uk, it has all of the downloads available. It is always good to be on the latest version of the software you are using, your situation being a prime example.

            Thanks Lee,
I've downloaded the v7.0.6 version.... made the suggested changes to the OCCUpgrade files and uploaded and all seems ok i.e. it takes me to checkout.
Does that mean i have Protocol 2.22 now ?

            Many thanks,
            Tom

Yes, 7.0.6 does use the 2.22 protocol and so will 7.0.7 when it comes out in the next few weeks.

I upgraded to 7.0.6 a week ago. Does protocol 2.22 install itself or do I need to do something in order to get it working?

                  Many thanks

If you were previously using 7.0.5 with Protx then you already had 2.22 installed and there is nothing to do.

If you came from a version earlier than 7.0.5 then your Protx script should have been upgraded during the site upgrade - again nothing to do, though if you are paranoid (like me) - you may want to run through a quick check that the settings are right. [don't forget, if you change anything - even just retyping the same info - you need to do the OCCUpgrade.ini increment step.]
