Internal Searching

I recently read a post which stated if you use !!<hidden words>!! this can help with results of your website internal search. Note: not speaking about search engine searching.

I have used this and it works but I am concerned google & yahoo will see this as "spamming" and black list my site. I have really good organic placement and dont want to mess it up.

Does anybody know whether using this method will cause google & yahoo to think I am trying to cheat them?

Thank you

Using any means to hide text on a web page will likely make any search engine think you are spamming. Don't do it! If you search there are many posts on this.

You would be much better montioring what people are searching for and trying to get the keywords into the product descriptions. This will also have the added effect of helping your search engine listings.
Cheers
