Incorrect TAX/VAT

Hi there one of our accountants has just pointed out that our shop is not working out the correct VAT / TAX .
See attached for an example....

Sometimes it will price over what it should be and unfortunateely other times under prices.

Has anyone else experience this??

I have ahd a quick look on the forum but cant seem to find anything. Is there a patch i can download?

Ah yes. Accountants.

Actinic is working correctly. The unit price is £4.39 plus VAT (so the VAT works out at 77p each).

Multiply by 25 units and the VAT total is £19.25.

HMRC has made it clear that the VAT should be calculated per unit that the customer can buy and then muliplied by the number of units and this is what actinic is doing. You can change this if you set actinic to calculate VAT per line rather than per item but this would be wrong.

Your accountant should know this.
