    Coupon Code Drama

    Hi,
I was just trying to move a category around on our actinic catalog and i get this message:
"Remove the Coupon Code Information from SetupInfo table. contained an unexpected object."
The section then disappeared and I don't currently have any coupon on the site. Can someone please tell me where the setup info table is located?

    thanks

Don't move any more sections or they will be lost also. I had this problem too, and seems to be cured by compacting the databases.

Click on Housekeeping (at the top), then second option down.

Remember that the section you moved will be lost for good. Were you building on a lot of new products or something?

          Hi
yes we do have up to a thousand products on our website shop. www.handembroideryshop.co.uk
We sell mainly mlitary badges for different regiments; caps, collar, etc. Its mammouth and gets bigger everyday.
this incident is very bizzare. never seen this happen before. i have tried the compact database thing and thankfully its worked! i was actually not looking forward to telling my manager what has happened.

thank you very much for your help :-)

Rebecca3t - it is worth remebering to regularly compact the DB (daily, or weekly) this will help with the integrity of the DB

and of course regular daily snapshots for backup purposes

Hmmmm. Interesting that. I had to do a bit of swapping round of pcs lately and ended up making this one the `main` one, instead of its former glory as one of the `other ones`. (Remember we're using multi-user).

Anyway, it looks like importing the snapshot from the `original pc` did not overwrite the Cart.pm, or the ActinicOrder.pm on this pc, meaning that the default Actinic files were used. The actinicextras.js and the templates were modded as they should have been.
