cgi-bin Issue

Hi

Have an issue with cgi-bin on my store. Previously it worked find, but the website was taken offline by the hosting company and then put pack online.

When i do an website upload it fails on the merge request.

If i do a network setup test it also complains it cant run CGI scripts on the server. I've checked via FTP all the path's/permissions and can't work it out !

The hosting company are useless and have no idea.

I had similar problems with my web host when the permission to run cgi scripts kept being changed on and off so I changed web host. So far, no more problems of that nature.

who is your current host?

we can let you know if they are known to be problematical thus worth considering a move or whether this is an isolated event

Current host is clara net, support is useless !

Alot of people are experiencing problems with Clara....

they seem to be abit hit and miss with them at the mo, have you done a forum search using "clara" as search keyword. You will then see comments from others who host with them, to help you decide whether to move or not.
