    Printing Multiple Orders

    Order processing set to bypass.

If 10 orders are downloaded and sit in the pending tab - printing "outstanding orders" results in the orders being correctly moved to the "completed tab" BUT only the 1 order (the one received first) is printed - the other 9 then require a re-print. This happens regardless of the number of orders pending and whether printer to the network laser or off my USB connected laser.

There is nothing in the printer setting and I am able to print multiple copies of documents via Illustrator, CorelDraw etc to either printer.

This was working fine until yesterday and with no apparent change in any settings, firewalls, program installs, window updates etc .. although common sense suggests something has changed somewhere or other.

Any suggestions, thoughts or otherwise welcomed as just not able to see any logical reason why this should happen.

    Developer v7.0.4

You shouldn't be able to print any orders at all if you have chosen to bypass order processing, however, if you choose to preview the orders rather than print, what happens?

That is the way I have always done it, v6, v7 and now in v8 also!

I don't have any pending at the moment but will check when receive multiple orders. Previewing a range of completed orders shows the range 1 of "n" ... but without any means of printing.

        Answers on a postcard please......

Setting the default printer (under windows) from the USB printer to the network printer now prints all copies. Manually adjusting the printer inside Actinic from the default USB to the network did not work!

Give me strength. As if I haven't enough trying to work on v7 and v8 concurrently without this malarkey

I must have misunderstood your setup I think, have you got the option 'bypass order processing' ticked on the order processing tab in design settings?

I have it ticked in View | Business Settings | Order Processing .. this marks everything as being processed upon printing the new (pending) orders.

With the network printer set as the default under windows everything is hunky dory printing to either machine. Don't know why and well past caring ... just as long at it works
