Strange problem with Developer

I am experiencing a strange problem with V7.06 of Developer.

I currently run two sites on the software, one is working fine however the other site does not do anything we you retrieve orders, upload the site or refresh the site. Click the button and nothing happens.

Put the software in to Test Mode and all seems to work fine.

I have imported old snapshots on to this machine and another and still receive the same problem.

I was also receiving "General Script Errors" on the site and was trying to do a Purge and Refresh at the time.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I assume you are now back out of test mode?

Check under View | Business Settings | Options > "Allow on this PC" to see if any have been unticked

All fine there, although it does get stranger.

As I mentioned I have tried many snapshots over 2 different computers with the same results.

I also own a hyphenated version of my domain name. When I add the hyphen to all the domain settings in Network Settings the the software does appear to work correctly. I cant' say that it would fully upload or download as there is nothing on there but it does run through the motions.

I can now only assume that Actinic actually contacts the server prior to displaying an upload or order retrieve box. I am sure though that I can normally start an upload off even if I don't have an internet connection.

This is correct, Actinic only connects to the internet when you upload / refresh or download orders. You may be able to get the upload kicked off without a connection to the internet as the first few bits are checks on your PC, when it reaches checking search indices it trys to connect via FTP to your server.
