Components and QuickBooks

I have products that have different components setup. If the user adds a component to the cart, it will display 2 items: the main product and its component. The problem is when I export this to QB it will build inventory for the parent product which we don't need to have since it is only used to build a component.
How will I build a product with multiple options which will not be seen as 2 different products when exported to QB?

Adrian,

In the component, select 'Component as Separate Order Line' and also enter the correct price you want customers to pay in the component 'Price' field.

Then in the 'Component' tab of the main product, set the pricing model to 'Sum of Component Prices', and select 'No Order Line For Main Product'.

See if this makes a difference to QuickBooks when you transfer the order.

I see that you have raised this as a support ticket as well and have been told that it is a wish list item.
