V6 & V7

Hi,
Since there is no vista updates for version 6 and it won't run. Are you able to update with version 7 and download the orders with version 6? My client's won't be happy knowing that their software won't run on vista. I have version 7 so I can still maintain the site. I just need to make sure they can download the orders with v6 on their XP machine.

I dont think so as the software will detect the different version numbers and not download until a refresh ie conversion to V7 has been done. Downloading with different versions is only possible with V8.

Hi Randy,

Just to confirm what Malcolm has said, you cannot upload a site in v7 and download into v6 because of the differences in the scripts. If you upgrade your software to v7 then you will also need to upgrade your client's software (to the same maintenance version too (ie v7.0.7)). If/when you upgrade you will need to completely 'refresh' the site (Web | Refresh Website).
