    Use the full URL path to the swf file in all cases.
    For example you have: xmlmenu2.swf
    instead of: http://www.mrbedstead.co.uk/acatalog/xmlmenu2.swf

    A typical link to a pdf will be:
    <a href="http://www.mrbedstead.co.uk/acatalog/mypdf.pdf" target="_blank">my pdf link</a>

    If you are putting this in a product description or fragment then it will be:
    !!<
    <a href="http://www.mrbedstead.co.uk/acatalog/mypdf.pdf" target="_blank">my pdf link</a>
    >!!

    You will also have to add these files to the additional files list in Actinic.

      using a flash nav
      Nothing to do with your post but just a word of warning about Flash based navigation - they are very unfriendly wilth search engines, will increase download times and if people dont have flash then they will not work. If you are using them then its a good idea to build in a backup navigation system and a site map.

        For usability reasons often a good idea to advise on the size of the download in the link - give people the option whether to sit and wait for 100mb PDF files (even small files should have the file size shown)

                I think you need to go back to a previous copy?
