    Request Forbidden Error

    Morning all,

Just tried to download my orders and got this error message:

"Actinic received an request forbidden error from the web server. The server is not properly configured to allow Actinic to run CGI scripts from the cgi-bin. Run Web | Configure Web Site Details... to review your web site configuration."

There's a "view response" button which shows this in my browser:

"You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/nq000001.pl on this server."

I've changed no settings since downloading my orders yesterday & all in my network setup is as it should be. I've done a google search through the forum and found nothing.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Scott.

        what happened?

After changing hosts last night, i am now struggling with exactly the same error. Does anyone know what was done by the host to resolve this issue, as my new host is struggling to find a solution.

Check your permisions on cgi-bin and acatalog. They should be at least 755 but often get changed to 644 by hosts by default after upgrading the server OS.
